A little more access. A lot more welcome.

Your menu.
Everyone’s invitation.

Ever seen a guest reach for their glasses, hold a menu towards the light or ask for a little help?

What if your menu could adapt to them instead?

Meet All About Access. A beautifully simple digital menu service that lets guests scan or tap to explore your menu on their own phone. They can enlarge the text, adjust contrast, listen using a screen reader and keep track of their choices.

Your venue stays in control of updates, while your printed menus, website and personal service remain part of the experience.

Designed for independent choice. Built for everyday hospitality.

The people behind the numbers

A better menu can make a real difference.

Not everyone experiences a menu in the same way. Small print, an unfamiliar font, difficult contrast or a menu that can’t be read with assistive technology can turn a lovely occasion into a frustrating one.

Designed for different needs

One menu. More ways to enjoy it.

What began with sight loss quickly became a bigger idea. More comfortable reading also matters to people who need reading glasses, experience visual fatigue, prefer clearer layouts, process text differently, or find it difficult to ask someone to read choices aloud. The aim is more ways for more people to access the same menu.

Read in comfort

Increase text size when standard print is too small – even when reading glasses have been left at home.

Choose your contrast

Switch between light, dark and high-contrast views, with a choice of fonts.

Listen and navigate

Clear sections and accessible text help screen-reader users move through dishes and prices.

Choose at your own pace

Take time to explore and keep track of favourites before speaking to a member of staff.

The venue experience

“Beautiful hospitality is about how people feel.”

Fits alongside what you already do

Keep the menu you’ve worked hard to create.

Your venue has its own personality. An accessible menu should support it, not replace it.

All About Access gives customers another way into the same menu. A small QR code or NFC tag can sit discreetly alongside your existing printed menus, on tables or at other convenient points.

  • Works in the customer’s device browser – NO app download
  • Can complement printed menus & your website
  • Uses the same venue menu URL for QR & NFC access
  • Designed to remain simple for customers & staff

Simple to keep current

As your menu changes, your accessible version changes too.

A new seasonal dish, a price change, something sold out – keep the menu up to date through your own venue editor.

Change descriptions and prices, organise sections, hide unavailable items and manage serving options. Customers can access your latest saved information through a stable venue link.

And we’re developing more. Branded print-ready menus, visitor insights and an integrated QR-code generator are on our roadmap – not live features yet. Venues joining us early can help shape what comes next.

Accessible means having choices

Braille is important.
But it isn’t for everyone.

Braille menus provide valuable independence for people who read braille. Yet many people with sight loss have never learnt it. Others simply want larger text, clearer contrast or a menu their phone can read aloud.

When your printed menu changes, a physical braille copy may need updating and replacing. A digital alternative can be changed alongside your regular menu – without waiting for a new copy to arrive.

About 7%

of people registered blind or partially sighted use braille. That’s why choice of format matters.

Born from lived experience

One family’s idea. A more inclusive welcome for everyone.

All About Access began with our daughter and a simple wish: that she could browse a restaurant menu and make her own choices, just like everyone else.

When sight loss made printed menus difficult for her to read, we began asking whether the technology already in people’s pockets could offer a better option. With our family’s background in IT, we started building one – and soon realised the benefits could reach far beyond our own family.

“Independence isn’t always about doing something extraordinary. Sometimes it’s choosing your own lunch.”
